Kickstarter - At Milkmen Design we believe that dipping sauces were made to go with nuggets and fries. For generations, humans had to choose between making a mess in their vehicle or consuming bland, sauce-free food. We were tired of standing by idly as the perfect union of fries and nuggets, and the precious sauces that compliment them, grew strained. So we created the DipClip to repair this relationship, reuniting ketchup with french fry, nugget with BBQ, and so on.
Make no mistake about it, I am a Kickstarter fan. I have more junk that is rarely seen or used, derived from largely moronic ideas. But there are a handful of products that keep me coming back to supporting these fine entrepreneurs. If there is a market for fast food car eating accessories Milkmen Design has cracked the SEO code because this thing popped up on my radar 9 days ago. Today is the 10th day of the campaign, and now the DipClip is one of the trending products on Kickstarter and has surpassed the original goal by three fold. It's popularity does not indicate it's value, just the fact there are enough fatties like me who love to eat chicken nuggets in their car.
I have major concerns for this product; this places the dip in prime viewing angle for precise nugget dunkage while distracting the driver potentially leading to a embarrassing death that would make Mr. Hands blush (RIP in peace). Second, dip container spillage is an issue that theoretically has been solved without addressing the hazard of excess dip dripping onto your Kohl's brand button down or your Kia Sorento pleather seats. That being said you bet your ass I am a backer, stay tuned for the epic conclusion of the DipClip saga.
